Need Help !!

i am thinking to upgrade my pc monitor and see the 144hz monitor but my pc specs are core 2 quard q6600 8gb ddr2 ram 500 gb samsung ssd and gtx 960 g1 gaming graphic card and i play games like cs go battlefield which give me maximum 90 fps. So my question is shall i go for a 144hz monitor or buy a 60hz monitor with 1ms respons time ?

Unless you upgrade your computer while your at it the 144Hz monitor will be a waste. With a decent graphics card you could take advantage of that monitor on games like counter strike, but you would need to drop some serious money if your looking to get frame rates that high in newer AAA games.

On top of that high refresh rate vs low response time is a preference decision.
