So i recently got, essentially a free rig came with everything except ram and storage so i went ahead and bought those put the thing together and it posted great. The problem is when i play a game(ae. fortnite) the computer crashes after a few minutes. It seems to me that the issue is the ram. I ran heaven and the computer was fine, i ran prime 95 and @ 3000 mhz the rated speed, the computer froze and i had to force a restart. When i put the original speed 2133, it ran perfectly. The ram is CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Memory Kit Model CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 so it should handle the these speeds. Perhaps i didn't put the xmp profile correctly which is posible the bios for this motherboard is differnet than what I'm used to. Full parts list is
Asrock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K6 Motherboard
Intel Core i7-6700k @ 4.00 GHZ
the afformentioned ram
Radeon R9 Fury X
Some EVGA 650 W 80+ bronze psu
1tb Seagate firecuda

Extra question but less important i bought an m.2 but theres no screw so i bought a kit that is meant to work with asrock motherboards the screws are too small any clue the size or a link to some screws that would fit?

game crashes even though you have great specs? try monitoring background activities in task manager and notice the applications whose eating your ram's memory

Then if it doesn't work, try updating your GPU
