need help

hello,

i have amd athlon xp 2500+ 1.8ghz normally it runs at ~40C.

is it possible what cpu temp can reach 128C then i overlock it from 1.8ghz to 2.1ghz? :O

but you know problem is what i checked temp with speedfan before oveclocking ( i dont know exactly wich temp is cpu http://www.ipix.lt/desc/81808666/ ) and temp2 was around 40C, after overclock temp2 instantly reached 128C

If you see 128º in Speedfan, it means nothing is connected to that sensor.

another example: then i checked temp with Everest before overcloking cpu temp was in program and was 40C, then i oc its gone - no cpu temp. maybe i didnt have to worry about cpu temp? sry bad english

You might need to update your bios

Reset the bios. Remove the power cord and battery on the motherboard for 30 seconds.
Then start the overclock over again gradually paying attention to temperatures.

i cant find the latest bios update for DFI AD77 this motherboard ;/ can anybody help to find it?

I strongly recommend that you read the manual before updating the bios unless you are 100% sure about the process.
