I was hoping somebody here could help me.
I'm running win2k and have a creative labs 121032e cd-rw drive. I just installed CDRWin and it included an Adaptec ASPI manager. The program works great for burning cds but windows no longer recognizes the existence of both my cd-rw and dvd drives. I look in device manager it it has the following error: "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)" I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both drives but I always end up with that same error.
I suspect my problem has something to do with that ASPI manager CDRWin included.
Any ideas on how to get windows to recognize my cds again?
