How do I find max clock with ATI TOOL ? I run it but i watch the clock
speeds going down not up and it runs and runs? How long does this take ?Do
I need to set a clock for it to try or will it do that on its own?

read the log it produces.

The clock first goes up in increments as the tool tests for artifacts. Once
artifacts are found, provided that the card doesn't lock up, it begins to
set the clock down in increments until the artifacts go away (or something
to that effect). In my case, it never stopped to go down either. So what I
did is I looked at the log file (app install dir), and determined what level
it locked up at. I then clocked the card a few MHz below that level. It's
been running stable and OC'd ever since. Repeat the process for both memory
and core
