Need help

Ok, I need help...just got a new laptop and its already ready for wireless(bought it that way) but I do have 2 desktops which are connected to Cable Modem through a 5-PORT Network Hub (Linksys) what I want to know is can I leave one of the desktop PC's connected that way and just add a wireless router to the hub and connect my laptop that way?????????? I would appreciate any help i can get....thanks in advance

usually you would connect the router to the modem and then all computers to the router. don't use the 5-PORT network hub which should be a NON wireless router.

modem ---> wireless router ----> PCs
