Need helpata cable

I got an antec 620m power supply. Im new to pc building, so i wann amake sure im riggh tbefore i contact them about this. It says it comes with 3 sata cables, i have 2 that fit the bigger plug in on the hdd, but not the red smaller one that connects it to the motherboard. Am i wrong in thinking it was suppost to be included?

Unfortunately yes. The cables supplied are for power. They do not supply you with the smaller cables, used for data. The cables that connect them to the motherboard are for Data, and usually either come with the drive or the motherboard. If they were not included, you can pick them up easily enough, and they're cheap.

would look into monoprice.com. they even sell through amazon. a little more than the elcheapo cables, but seem to be a little more reliable than the ultra cheaps.
