i have an acer aspire 1420 g with windows 7 amd athlon ii x 4 645 and an nvidia geforce 6150se
so can i run
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 or 3? Medal of Honor? Battlefield: Bad Company 2?

what suggestions do you have for a new video card for this machine

The 6150se is an integrated gpu not meant to be able to run games. 🙁

I would suggest purchasing a low profile radeon 7750, do you have a PCIe x16 slot on the motherboard and a low profile expansion slot in the back for it?

The radeon 7750 needs 55 watts maximum to run and I've read your acer has a 220 watt power supply so it might work.
Upgrading the power supply would be tricky because there's not a psu that will fit perfectly.
I recommend trying the 7750 first because if the power supply can deliver atleast 200 watts it should be ok.

(If you're willing to use some tools, maybe even powertools) And try get the screw holes on the case to fit the new power supply.

If you can get it to work with the low profile Sapphire Radeon 7750 it will give you a very stunning gaming computer for such a low price and small case.

one more question
the 7750 is a bit out of my price range
if i set the graphics to low would it run even if the graphics are crappy
would it run smooth or be super laggy

Sorry zeebolt, I don't suggest spending any money on upgrading that computer.

Maybe try to sell it when you got more money?
It's a good basic PC so you could get a hundred dollars or more out of it to buy yourself a better one with a decent power supply and space to upgrade a graphics card.
