I have stormhold 2 + 3 and was told that I will need a core i7 at the very least to run these games, will not a core i3 or i5 do it?

Are you Talking about Stronghold 2 and Stronghold 3? I ran those games on a Q9550 system, you should be able to run it with high details on an i3 and higher provided you also have a discrete GPU. The iGPU should also be able to handle the game without much fuss.

Just for the sake of relevance, can you please pass on your full system's specs and you OS?
