Need help on upgrading RAM

I already have
CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory Model CMY16GX3M2A1866C9R (Red)
Capacity16GB (2 x 8GB)||Speed-DDR3 1866||CasLatency-9||Timing-9-10-9-27||Voltage-1.5V||Heat Spreader

INstalled in 2 lots , I have 4 RAM slots on MSI-GD65 MOBO

The first slot is covered by my CPU NOCTUA AIR COOLER, can I install a different RAM module in the 4th SLOT

I am trying to install this one in the available 4th slot

PNY-XLR8||Model-MD8192KD3-1600-X9||Type||240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM||Capacity-8GB (1 x 8GB)||Speed-DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)||Cas Latency-9||Voltage-1.65V

I just wanted to know can we mix RAM sticks made by different manufacturers having different voltage speeds and cas latency ??
Will it be a problem ??

Not a good idea mixing rams can create problems and there is always a 50-50 chance of the ram not working with other ram.

WHat is the factor that shoould be considered if I need to mix from the same manufacturer or different ?

if you are not buying ram in pair then its best to use ram of the same brand with same mhz different manufacturer may or may not work.

ANY time you mix packages of DRAM, it's a crapshoot, might or might not work, even with packages of the same exact sticks, which is why manufacturers offer such a variety of sets, and in those individual sets, all sticks are tested to work together, they also have XMP programming that is particular to the set (number of sticks can dictate timings, i.e. the tRFC on a 2 stick set may require 220 and a 4 stick set of the same exact sticks needs 314. So, it's always best to buty the full amount you need all in a single set
