heey, ok so ive had many gaming pc's before! but never built my own as yet!
i now want to try build my own. only thing is there are so many motherboards out there i have no idea to pick what one is best for me, here is what im planning on having :-

coolermaster - nvidia case
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz
intel core i5 2500k (wont be overclocking)
Corsair Force Series 3 120GB SATA 6Gb/s SSD
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 16MB Cache Hard Drive
Coolermaster GX 750W 80PLUS® Power Supply
GTX 560ti 1gb

i want the SSD for my windows!
other hd for other stuff..

im not a mad gamer, simple gaming pc not to good, mainly for call of duty 4 +, bf2 maybe 3!
any ideas what motherboard im best of with?

thanks

only reason i picked the 2500k was i read ( boost up to 3.7ghz when gaming) so though it would be better? plus are other specs good? and what motherboard

No. If you're not overclocking, the 3450 beats it.
Here is a solid H77 board:

Overkill on the PSU, so get this instead.

Bad choice for an SSD; this is a better one:

Also, you may want to consider getting a 7850 over the 560 Ti, as it beats it in most games:

so i wont need any psu over 600w? even if i wanna upgrade later on to 680?

will that mother board support 1 x SSD(the one you said) and anthor 1tb HD(could you name few good 1tb harddrives to go with my SSD.

You don't slot the HDD and the SSD into the mobo....

Western Digital Caviar Black/Blue drives are very good, though if you need to go cheaper, Seagate Barracuda drives are also decent for their price.

Nope, 600 watts is more than enough for any single GPU card.

ah ok what about this mobo ASRock Z68 Extreme3 or is that to much for what i need?

im new to building pc's i just want a fast new gaming pc, they plug in to dvd writer do they?

The Z68 allows overclocking, which you don't need. It's easier just to get the 3450+H77 board.

ok cheers been really help full! one last thing that psu, comes with connecters for video card, i wanna do cable management so dont want molex everywhere.

and will this all work fast?:-
