Have a bad motherboard on my Dell 2350 desktop but do not have the paperwork that came with it when purchased.I do have all the installation disks, but since I cannot boot I have no way of knowing what the socket is or if there is any other MoBo that can be used other than Dell. I know it is an Intel celeron 1.8. with Windows Xp home Is there anyway to find out about a replacement?

to my knowledge, dell mobo's are proprietary, and so are their cases. so you are pretty much stuck with using dell. Have you tried to go on their website (on another computer, of course), and entering in your asset tag? that should bring up your system on their website. you can go through getting support from there.

I would check ebay for pricing. Just type "dell 2350" and do a search. Ascendtech also has some dell boards. You might also have a bad power supply. Dell power supplies are also proprietary on many models.
