Need more info for new monitor

I had completed my build.
cooler master case Haf 912 full case
Cosair RM 850 X Power supply
Cpu I 5 6600k Skylake
MSI gaming M5 Z170A motherboard
evga gtx 970 4gb ftw acx 2.0 gddr 5
G Skills rip Jaws v 2-8 gb ddr-4-2666 pc-2130
hyper 212 evo CPU cooler
evo 840 250gb ssd
2 1tb western digital black
Windows 10 PRO
My question is to get 2k or 4k g-sync. monitor will i have enough or need newer or more graphic card for future use? For gaming bought my GC 2 years ago thought it was enough also looking at monitor size 28 and up. Thanks for any help

The GTX 970 is a Ultra 1080p card, its not enough for 4k, and if you want to play at 2k, you will have to dial down the settings to Medium/High. I would recommend a 2k monitor if your plan on upgrading the gpu.

Thanks I guess i will have to sell my card thought about sli I guess it's almost obsolete.
