can anyone help me find a motherboard with a 3 pin rgb connector for the i7-4790K

That might be a tough find.

What are you trying to do?

It would likely be cheaper to use a lighting node. The pc RGB world is a mess as there is no industry standard, as of yet.

3 or 4 pin will all work in the same hearder does not matter.

Well, if it’s an LED 3 pin cable for aRGB it needs 5 volts and it is a similar looking header as the 4 pin but on pin is blocked out.

A 4 pin LED RGB header is 12 volts.
