Question Need Network Help

So I have been fighting my network for about 3 weeks now. First my router seemed to go out then my modem. Now I am not getting Max wired speeds. Lol I need help. My ISP is supposed to give me 250mb, when I plugg directly into my PC I'm getting 240 to 260 using Google speed test. But if I go through my router it drops to 117mb. I know 117mb is fast but I should get what I am paying for right? My Modem is a Arris SB6190 My router is a Linksys EA7500. When running these tests only my PC is plugged in. Is there settings on the Router I need to set? I know the WAN is 10/100/1000. I just don't what else to do. Thanks for any help.

Start by doing a factory reset of your router. Set only passwords, WIFI SSID and password, and WAN info if required.
117Mbit says that the router wired connectsions (LAN and WAN) are running at gigabit speeds.
