Need new gaming headset for PC on Budget!

Hello,

i am in need of a new headset for pc gaming, here is what i am looking for at the price of 50$ USD / 65$ CAD.

I would like to have 360 degrees hearing to know where enemies are in game, good audio / sound quality, a high durability, and comfort for long gaming sessions. PS: I do not need a mic with the headset but it would be a good bonus thx.

I'd buy a decent stereo headset, will get better sound quality for a given price. Also virtual surround sound is a gimmick, it just doesn't work in my opinion and a decent stereo set are far more beneficial. If you must use it you can download programs like Razer Surround and turn any stereo set into a virtual surround sound set as there is nothing mechanically different about virtual sets. I have used a £120 Bose stereo set and they just blow any similar priced gaming headset away. I also have a £20 Sony headset that has better sound than most gaming headset <£100. Gaming headsets are often style over substance and marketing gimmicks.

Fully agree, sound becomes less detailed with virtual surround. I'd say It's a con over stereo in gaming.
