Need new monitor to replace my monitor

My 27" monitor seems to be dying as it flickers on and off. It's intermittent as it can go on for hours (use to be days), but then have few moments when it happens every few seconds. I don’t believe it’s my pc, as I noticed the flickering problem on other equipment like a ps3. I plan to use the monitor for mostly gaming, although I do plan on occasionally using the monitor to hook up consoles, so I’ll need a monitor with built in speakers.

I live in USA and have an open budget. I would prefer high end oppose to economical.

Not many high end monitors come with built in speakers. The only one I can find is the DoubleSight DS-307W, but it's expensive and I don't know much more about it.
