Need new power supply.

I'm in the market for a new PSU.
I'm swaying towards a Corsair PSU. I've always liked the Corsair stuff.

My setup is:

Core 2 Duo 2.2
4GB Corsair RAM DDR2
4 HHD's Sata 2
4+ Fans

and I'm in the market for some new graphics cards/card.

What would be sufficient for me? I use A LOT of usb devices also.

Btw, why do they make 1000W PSU's? What kind of crazy setup would require that much? Most people recommend 700w for most applications.

Video card...based on your rig, you could do well with a ATI 4850/4870 or a GTX 260. They're last generation, but they still work REALLY well. Better bang for the buck in my opinion. You can also check out the "Best Graphics Card for the Money" articles on this site. They rarely stear you wrong.

PSU...I like Antec and Seasonic. I usually try to stick to anything that says "80 Plus".

Best card for you is a HD5770 which will do fairly good for 1680X1050.
Costs around 160$

A 550 watt PSU will run that as long it is a quality power supply.
