The time has come for me to get a new power supply, so I am now looking at newegg and considering my options.

I am currently looking at either Corsair or Antec power supplies, likely in the 650W range.

Any different in performance or quality between the V2 and non V2 versions of the Corsair 650W Enthusiast series?

Any other PSU recomendations?

Here is my current system, including the PSU I will soon be replacing.

No current plans for any major upgrades, as the CPU / Mother board are less than a year old, but I may upgrade the video card at some point.

550w Antec True Power 2.0 PSU
Antec 1200 v2
5 120MM Blue LED Tri Cool Antec fans
1 200MM Blue LED TRI Cool Antec fan
1 120MM TRI Color LED / TRI Cool Antec fan
Asus M4A87TD
AMD Pehnom II 965 Quad Core 3.2 GHz CPU
4GB DDR3 1600 OCZ Memory (2x 2GB sticks)
EVGA 9800GTX+ PCI- Express
Asus Xonar DG 5.1 sound card (the cheap $30 one)
Seagate 1TB Hard Drive
Western Digital 1TB Caviar Black SATA Hard Drive
Samsung 1TB SATA Hard Drive
Samsung 22 inch Wide Screen LCD Monitor
Windows 7 Home Premium
Logitech Z-640 Speakers
Microsoft Wireless Keyboard/ Mouse
Floppy Drive
DVD/ CD RW Drive
LG Blue Ray Drive

Hauppauge TV Card (not currently installed, but will evetually put this back in)

Solution
Definitely go for the 650TX V2, its cheaper, more efficient, and just as good overall. No reason to pick the 650TX which is being phased out, the V2 is a much better pick at current pricing.

Will the 650TX V2 be sufficient for some of the newer video cards? Or would I have to buy a new PSU down the road, once I upgrade to a newer video card?

My current video card still works great after 2 1/2 years, but eventually it will get replaced. I intend to stick with my EVGA 9800GTX+ as long as possible, which means until a game comes out that it can't handle, or it fails on me.
