So, upgrading my PC soon. I love AMD. I really really love AMD. So right now I have a budget build that's years old now with a sapphire R9 270x in it. This card has been through a lot with me so that's why I'm attached to AMD. I'm planning on getting either a 1700x or 1800x paired with either a 1070 or a 1080, or I can wait for Vega. Put simply, I'm torn and have no idea what to do. I plan mostly to do 1440p gaming but am willing to step down to 1080p in a few years. I already have a 4k monitor, and a 1080p 60 hz monitor, but am getting a 1080p 144hz monitor.

So basically, I'm just not sure what to go with. I'd prefer for it to be around 1600 to 2000 dollars (I have 1400 and a job and I plan to sell my current parts to friends for cheap)

I really want to wait for Vega (AMD Pride) but I'm not sure when it's releasing, but as far as I can tell probably in may which is around when I'd be purchasing the parts. But, if I go with a 1080 or even a 1080 ti I could deliver amazing performance, sooner most likely. I just don't want to betray AMD.

A few builds I've come up with:

Solution
I don't think I would get any of those builds. The PSUs for them aren't good, and your third one lacks a PSU. If you want to do Ryzen right here's what I would suggest:
