im looking into a cheap build for gaming, nothing really super high end.here is what im leaning towards parts wise, can a knowledgeable builder let me know if this will be alright and all work together properly?this is my first build. Thanks for all the help in advance.

AMD FD6300WMHKBOX FX-6300 6-Core Processor Black Edition

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM

GeForce GTX 750 1024MB GDDR5 GPU

WD 1TB 7200RPM HD

ThermalTake TR2 600 Watt ATX PSU

All going inside-
Sentey Gaming Case Optimus Gs-6000 Plus and thinking windows 7 instead of 8.1 until 10 comes out.
What yas think will this all play nice together?see any problems or have any advice?Thank You!

The only brands you should trust is: EVGA B2/G2/P2, XFX, SeaSonic, Antec

The thing is, it can cause problems down the road, and may even destroy some parts. A good quality PSU is needed in all computers, especially for gaming.

Nah, saying that PSU is a disaster is a "bad labeling", don`t advise something like that. I have been using Keian Bullmax PSU, (yes you never heard of it) but as long as it has the 80+ (bronze, gold, silver, platinum rating) you should not be worried.

Na, that is unfair for the manufacturers. They intend to make their products the best as possible, large industries have QA Department which ensures that the product passes the required specifications.

PSU industry is a wide unlike Nvidia and AMD.

Just suggest what are the best but don`t label other brands as bad.

As for my PSU, it is a cheap Japanese brand.

100% terrible advice. A rating means nothing in terms of quality. NOTHING. This is a common misconception. There are non-rated units that are VERY good quality like the Antec VP series, and there are tons of Bronze rated units that are AWFUL and will fry your system. Tons of companies even fake the labels. CM did for YEARS.

Nope, wrong. Companies do not follow any standards and release all manner of junk. There are PSUs on the market today labeled as "new" that use a decade old and dangerous design. There are TONS of downright unsafe PSUs on the market. Being "Japanese brand" Doesn't mean anything at all.

If it is rated at 50%, then it is NOT bronze, silver, gold, platinum rated at all as those ratings are ONLY for 80% and higher load. So if it says rated at 50% and has a bronze sticker, it is 100% false advertising and they are lying to you. Simple as that.

that's fine, but PSU companies just lie and fake labels. happens ALL THE TIME. Just because you are supposed to do something, doesn;t mean everyone actually does it.

Coolermaster did it in the late 2000s. You can read about that with a simple google search.

Bottom line, the Thermaltake TR2 units are junk and should be avoided.
