it should be micron, but not sure which one. thats why im asking you if it's the latest version, try to double check it. which series is your adata?I believe its the latest version but its also the free version. Could you tell me what IC is?
I found a direct link to one of them. - Nevermind this is a 3200Hz version of mine.which series is your adata?
I wouldn't dare to overclock it since i dont know which ic it is, given the low freq and loose timing.Ok, if you type this in to google: XPG Z1 DDR4 2400 MHz (PC4 19200) 16GB (2x8GB) Memory Modules, Red (AX4U240038G16-DRZ) it should show on amazon. This is one of my rams. The other one should be this: XPG Gammix D10 2400MHz (PC4 21300) 16G (2X8GB) Memory Module Kit Red (AX4U240038G16-DRG)
I didnt buy a kit, i bought two different rams.
Here are pictures so you can find it easier: 1-2
Okay, thank you. I overclocked my CPU to 3750 and ran some tests. I used cinebench and i got much worse results than before the overclock. Above 3750 my pc crashes. Do you think my ram could be a problem? It says on the ram's description that its recommended for: AMD 300, 400, 500 series / AMD X570 / AMD B550 / Intel 200, 300, 400 SeriesI wouldn't dare to overclock it since i dont know which ic it is, given the low freq and loose timing.
If it crashes then your bin is not able to touch above 3700. it's 1.35v on cpu voltage right?Okay, thank you. I overclocked my CPU to 3750 and ran some tests. stay below 3.7 or 3.6ghz isn't that bad. only ram is the one left to be worked onyes it's 1.35 and 1.15 for SOC
could my ram affect my performance in cinebench? before i started overclocking i had 3000+ points, now its 600. I am worried something isn't alright.ram is the one left to be worked on
it should affect, knowing how ryzen works. Point is that the faster and the better the timing the ram you have, the less latency for infinity fabric, the better the performance.could my ram affect my performance in cinebench? before i started overclocking i had 3000+ points, now its 600. This has nothing to do with the ram as it is for the chipset itself.I am thinking of things like the chipset i installed is not supported by my ram or something. I am not an expert though.
How do i check about balanced power plan?balanced power plan
Search for power plan in windows search. How do i check about balanced power plan?
I cannot find anything like this.Search for power plan in windows search.
It should be like this. Choose a power plan.I cannot find anything like this.
I think i found it it has the Balanced Ryzen Power Plan selected. It should be like this. Choose a power plan.
One thing i maybe should've asked. On this website the latest update says its not srecommended for Summit Ridge CPU-s and my Ryzen 5 is one of them. Could this be an issue?
.You could try to load optimized value on bios after update. save and exit, enter bios again and overclock the cpu again.
I tried this. It had no effect on anything. I don't know why my performance is worse than before but i hope i'll find a solution to this soon. You could try to load optimized value on bios. save and exit, enter bios again and overclock the cpu again.
I've told you before if the frequency didnt stay the same while it is being benched, probably it is throttling. you should monitor the cpu clock and core voltage while testing it.I tried this. I keep testing it, currently 3600MHz is stable, so thats a victory for me.I've told you before if the frequency didnt stay the same while it is being benched, probably it is throttling. you should
