Need pc to monitor's dvi-i port for video and audio

Just ordered a new Dell Inspiron 3668 desktop and want to connect it to my Viewsonic VX1932WM monitor with built-in speakers. I want to leave my old pc connected to the vga port which leaves me with a dvi-I port. I'm trying to find out what hdmi to dvi-i cord/adapter to purchase that will also transmit sound?

Sound only works from PC DVI to a display's HDMI port, it won't work the other way around.

To get sound you will need to connect to the 3.5 mm audio jack on the back of the monitor.

DVI does not transmit sound. Only HDMI and Display Port can do that. Your monitor doesn't have this type of connections.
Audio can be connected to your monitor only with 3.5mm audio cable.
