Need PCI (legacy) to USB 3.0 add-in card with 20-pin header

I need a USB3.0 add-in card for a (legacy) PCI slot that has a 20-pin internal header. I can find PCI Express cards up the %#$, but not PCI. Or, at least not ones with the 20-pin header. Am I wasting my time? They don't exist for some reason?

legacy PCI cards do not have the bandwidth for USB 3.0. the it may not even have the bandwidth for USB2.0

PCI has a 133MB/s transfer limit which is far lower than the actual transferrate of usb 3.0 so you won't be finding those cards. Any reason you would need 3.0 in a legact system?

I working with a board that does indeed have a PCIe x1 slot, but it sits right next to the gfx card. The add-in card would cover the gfx card's front fan.
That, and I would like to have one on hand for future use with older boards.

yea the old PCI bus is in MB/sec while the PCI-E bus is GB/sec

OK. I'm back with you guys on the legacy PCI buss being too slow for 3.0. Guess I'll look for a short low profile PCIe x1 card that won't block much air flow. Thanks.
