Need permission from the Administrator to save(windows10)

I went to user account to check if i was the administrator and i check the account and I am but the PC still wont let me save onto my ssd

That I need permission from the administrator even thought I am the sole administrator on my PC. I need permission to save

Try changing the owner of the directory you are writing to. It may be something like Trusted Installer and you need to change it to Adminstrators. Then change the permissions for Administrators to Full Control. This is done in the security tab of the Propertieds. Click on the Advanced button to change the owner then change the Permissions.

I am the sole administrator on my PC but it not giving me permission to save. I went to my SSD and right click and hit properties and went into the security tab to change the ownership but even there it says that I am the administrator. I cant download what i want

There isn't a way to override this, not within Tom's purview anyway.

You will need to make your account an administrator.
