Now is there really any difference between a PCI adapter and a USB?

USB goes into the USB port on your pc and the PCI one goes into the PCI slot on the motherboard, but not all of them have it and sometimes it wont fit because of a graphics card or something so i normally recommend USB ones for ease of use.
