Need psu upgrade help

Buying an hp 595-P0084 that only has a 180w psu. Moving my video card from my old machine. Graphics card is 1050 ti mini that runs off of the motherboard(no separate cable to psu) but still recommends a min 300w psu. If I’m going to upgrade it anyway I’d like to get min 500w but up to 750w if possible in case I upgrade later. What psu would fit this machine?

Non standard board & connections means a standard atx is not going to work.

Honestly if you plan on future upgrades I would steer clear of that HP prebuild completely.

A 550w will be more than enough. But you need to make sure that your current PSU and motherboard are using standard ATX connectors and some kind of proprietary connectors.

Thanks to you both. I was nervous about the HP to begin with, but it was an affordable option if I could add my existing GPU and SSD. I think I’ll just look for a better albeit more expensive choice to save myself the future frustration.

You could always tell us your budget, and if you are up for building it yourself we can suggest some good builds for your needs and budget.
