HI

Warranty: Limited Lifetime
Features: Intel XMP 2.0 (Extreme Memory Profile) Ready

I have the following doubts about these if possible

Single Channel Kit , what others are there, and how different are they from each other. Which is best.

Tested Latency: 15-15-15-35-2N Whats this ?

Error Checking: Non-ECC

SPD Speed

Also how to check if RAM is faulty or not.
I checked my old RAM with memtest+ and it didnt give any errors. But then i checked again and it gave errors while in fade test. How to ensure if its faulty or not.

Oh and the one i think faulty is a 8 GB 2133 DDR4 RAM of gskill

Thanks

Tested latency = 'Tested simply indicates that they have been tested and guaranteed that they will run at 2400 15-15-15-35-2N in an appropriate mobo/CPU combo'

Try with the 16GB stick in slot 1 and the 8GB in slot 3 (from CPU) and try booting, let me know what it does

From what you show it's a single stick of Ripjaws V (16GB) from GSkill, rated 2400/15 packaged as a single stick.

These are also available in a 2 or 4 stick package - the 2 and 4 have been tested to run in dual or quad channel rigs and are guaranteed to play together and run either dual or quad.

Tested simply indicates that they have been tested and guaranteed that they will run at 2400 15-15-15-35-2N in an appropriate mobo/CPU combo

It's Non-ECC DRAM - so aimed at enthusiast rigs rather than server type rigs which use the Error checking with DRAM

SPD speed will be 2133 - so basically telling you that it can run at a normal DDR4 mobo's default DRAM speed of 2133 and will do so with no adjustments (for running 2400 simply enable XMP in the BIOS and select profile 1)

For Memtest - test each stick individually (testing multiple sticks can cause false errors.

If having problems trying to mix the 16GB stick with and *GB stick let me know the model number(s) of the 8GB and we can try adjustments

Ok ,thanks for the reply understood most of them :)

whats Tested Latency: 15-15-15-35-2N ?

And i am not sure about running both the RAMs, as the 16 GB is a newly bought one and is 2400
But the old one which i think is the faulty is 8GB 2133 mhz.

I tested with memtest with the 8GB single RAM only.

And if i can run both of them together, i will be more than happy :), is it possible?
Will it cause issues ? Running 2400 and 2133 RAM's ?
BOth are Gskill ripjaws V RAM
