Browsing the web for some solid upgrades for my computer that isn't going to kill the wallet. Sitting for a maximum price range of $300. I have a built computer already just not sure what compatible upgrades would make a noticeable difference!
Current build:
MSI B150 Pc mate
16gb ram
120gb SSD
MSI GTX 1060 3gb
i5-6400

I play most of the new games (BF1, Conan Exiles, and most MMO's)
Any recommendations would be awesome.

I do have 120gb of SSD forgot to mention that let me edit it lol

i agree with techyinaz. your system is pretty solid.

if you want, you could sell the 1060 and pick up a 1070. other than that, pretty much the CPU/mobo like techy said. either a z270 and i5 7600k or ryzen when it comes out

I was thinking of going with a Z170 and i5-7600k. But if the ryzen is decently priced I'd consider that. How much you think I'd get out of a 1060 if I tried to sell it, it's only the 3GB dedicated graphics so.

3GB models aren't that great, but fortunately the 1060 is still new. I'd say roughly $180ish. However if the RX 480s are down at $170, you'll probably have to go down an extra $20.

Where's the best deal you'd find on a 1070?
