I posted something a few hours ago in video gaming, and after looking around a bit I realized systems would be a better place to put this. I'd appreciate any advice or help any of you will give me. I'm trying to put together a good gaming desktop. This will be the first computer I've ever put together.
Right now I'm just concerned with getting a tower together, I have already have a monitor, keyboard, etc.
I'd like to keep it under $1,000, but if I'd save more in the long run by buying something a little more expensive than I'd be willing to go up a few hundred dollars.
Purchase date: This month
System usage: Gaming
Parts not required: Everything except the tower
Preferred website: None
Country: I live in the U.S.
Overclocking: It doesn't matter.
SLI or Crossfire: It doesn't matter.
So what are your recommendations for parts, or is this a good article to go by?

Again I'd appreciate any help, and thanks.
