need Recommendation for buying laptop and upgrading pc

hello all,
My current pc is CQ3559IN. Its specs are :- i3 550, 6 gb ram(ddr3) , R5450 HD ;
mobo- MS-7613. psu=430 W .
I am looking to upgrade it so that i can play some games , game designing (3d) and mostly
programming,
I am thinking of gtx 1050 2gb mini and change mobo(but confused) .
my current case is the same as it was given i think it is micro-atx.
I am from india. I also need help to buy a laptop quickly for programming (mostly for powerworld , Matlab simulation, python, web dev. and design).
looking for laptop with i5 , dedicated gpu and 8 gb ram if possible.
total budget(both pc and laptop)= around Rs.55000.

thats about 800 dollars US, that can easily get you a desktop for some light gaming and programming, but as for a desktop and a laptop you might need some help from someone else.

I must buy a laptop for college needs and therefore i have to divide my budget.
currently i am thinking of getting a laptop for around 35000 and the rest for gpu and mobo(should i upgrade it or not, i am confused) .

Go ahead and buy the 1050 2gig mini, look around and try and find the best deal you can on a Core i7 860 it should slot into your current motherboard and work, but with the 1050 you might want a better powersupply, look for one thats about 500-550w and it should be plenty for you.\

i play games(at 720p) sometimes and dont really mind playing games at medium settings.
