Need replacement for Abit IN9-MAX32

Dec 20, 2007
I've been trying for weeks to fix my computer and I've narrowed down the problem to my mobo.
The IN9-MAX32 is not actually great and I'm pretty disappointed - it's quite buggy and OC is really tedious on this board.
I was thinking of finding a better replacement, and was wondering if ppl could suggest me a good mobo.

I read the the Asus Formula special edition is pretty good for OCing and can handle both DDR2 and DDR3 mem.
DDR3 is still way too expensive so I think I want mobo that can handle both types when I decide to upgrade to DDR3 mem.

Do you think this is a good/better replacement, or can suggest me another one?
(No probs with pricing)

I'm running:
Coolermaster 850W
8800GTX Watercooled
Corsair 2 x 1GB PC8500 ram

Youll only find more problems overclocking a combo board... it also limits the amount of ram that you can install more... and DDR3 atm is WAY overrated, and will be for some time still. By the time you will need ddr3 it will be time for a new board anyways...

If you arent looking for SLI at all one of these would be excellent.

ASUS P5K range (specifically vanila and p5k-e)
