Hi everyone,

This is my fist time OCing my i5 6600k and i would like to gain the opinion of people with experience on my OC. Lets start off with my hardware:

i5 6600K (Obviously)
MSI Z170A Tomahawk Mobo
16Gb Gskill 2400mhz DD4 ram
750W 80+ gold PSU
Powercolor Devil R9390x GPU
3Tb HDD
250GB SSD
Hyper 212X Air Cooler
Ambient Temps around 25 degrees Celsius

So i managed to get my i5 to 4.7Ghz with a 1.330 Vcore. My temps are sitting around 68-69 degrees when running AIDA64 for about 1hr 15min. I also did around 4-5 rounds of Cinebench to make sure that its relatively stable with no BSOD. I will also do a bit of gaming today to make sure it doesn't crash in game. Also i have done a lot of homework on OCing skylake and from my understanding, keeping the voltages under 1.35V is fine for everyday use. Some say even anything under 1.4 is fine if you can keep it cool enough, although it might be pushing it.

What I would like to know is if there is anything strange with my overclock or if there is anything that jumps out to you as strange that i should be aware of.

Here is a link to a screen shot of my CPU stress testing on Aida64.

I am still busy trying to get the voltage a little bit lower, but does this overclock seem fine for everyday use? Also i will do a proper stress test of a couple of hours after i am happy with my voltages.

I would appreciate as much insight into this as possible.

Cheers,
