Hey guys I am new to this site and I have a couple of questions about an upgrade.
I had this computer for about 3 years now and I am getting ready for an upgrade.
Here is my computer specs right now:
AMD FX(tm)-4170 Quad-Core Processor 4.2 GHz
8 GB
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
M5A97 LE R2.0 Motherboard.
500W Power Supply
I am not a professional at computers but I was looking into another graphics card that I might want to get and I saw the GTX 960. The biggest question for i have is should I get another processor or the one i have now is fine.
I want my computer to be able to run games like GTA 5, H1Z1, And Arma 3 at decent settings with higher fps.
Right now the fps I get for the games are.
H1Z1: 45-75 fps All low settings in open areas and 25-35 All low settings in the towns/cities.
Arma 3: 5-30 fps All low settings everywhere
Gta 5: 30-60 fps All low settings everywhere.
Minecraft: 60-120 fps medium settings everywhere
CSGO: 60-150 fps All low settings everywhere
Let me know if I need to explain anything else.
