My set up:
I5 4690k cpu@3.5ghz
Msi z97 gaming 5 atx lga1150
Corsair h100i 77 cfm liquid cooler
Kingston hyper x fury 8x2
Evga Gtx 980 superclocked acx 2.0
Thermaltake v71 atx full tower

Currently running a aida64 stability test (cpu, fpu, cache and sys mem only)
Been running for 25mins so far
Im getting 55to60c at 1.116v

My goal is oc it to 44 or maybe46
Recommendation i got from linus video was 1.2v for 4.6

Some questions i have
Been hearing alot of ppl saying 1.3v is dangerous?
Planning to run test for a couple hours, is there need to run it for like a whole day?
Aside from the cpu ratio and voltage what other options would need to change in oc genie(msi oc mobo software i believe)
and lastly
Any advice for me?

Thank you in advance!

Solution
your AIO is going to limit how far you can OC your CPU

when you increase more volts the more heat the aio is going to have to disapate

it is not recommended to increase the volts past what 1.3 because you start potentially damaging the CPU i dont go over 1.3V

here is some basic OC 101
before you start playing with voltages and load calibrations etc

1)see how far you can increase your core ratios until your computer wont boot

2) after you find the core ratio that fails to boot increase the volts buy .25

repeat step 1 and 2 MIND YOUR TEMPS!!!

3) once you found your max OC on your cpu decrease the volts by .10 just to zero in the voltages
