Need Some Advice Gigabyte Motherboard

Depends on what you're going with. LGA775 the newest I think right now is the GA-965P-DQ6. AM2 its either GA-M55S-S3 or GA-M55SLI-S4.

You weren't really specific on what type of build you want.

I'm pretty happy with my GA-965P-DS3, as far as price,performance and overclocking abilities. Its a pretty good board IMO.

for 775, the DS3 possibly has the best performance and OC capability for the money. The DQ6 has a lot of extra stuff that you really don't need, but some people like.

Sorry that I didnt go into specifics but for the processor im going for an Intel...Intel Extreme mabey?.

Go with GA-965P-DS3 then. I'm guessing thats the QX6700, you just go with the E6400 or E6600. It would cost you alot less than the QX6700.

Hey, I see you have a ga 965P ds3. Mine is on its way , the rev 3.3 version. I'll be starting off with the old Pentium D 805, planning some OCing. How is that geforce 7600GT card? I debating on buy one.

I'm thinking about the OCZ memory ddr2 800 if I can get it to work with the 805 cpu.

Yeah it should work fine, I don't see why it wouldn't work unless its a DOA RAM.
