Four 8GB DIMMs is less optimal than two 16GB DIMMs. That CPU has a dual channel memory controller, so two DIMMs is optimal. PCIe riser cables can be very temperamental. For maximum performance and reliability I would stay away from them.

Ah sweet, i thought the same but kinda went towards the fact the four DIMMs looks much better.. But if it's that bad then don't worry about it haha thanks for pointing that out, updated the list :)

As for the PCIe riser i don't think it will hit the temperatures much because it's a pretty spacious case therefore it will be no where near the case panel as other cases that showcase the risers :\

It is not a temperature issue with riser cables. It is an electrical signal integrity and signal to noise issue. Lots of folks have trouble with them. I don't know about that specific adapter, but I would just avoid them. I know it shows off a graphics card, but just be prepared to throw it out if you have problems with your graphics card.

tbh the price isn't the issue for me haha, just want availability or some recommendations on what to add or replace that may be better, thanks for the help though, if it was a budget build then definitely :)

not looking to buy that monitor as its way too expensive imo its not worth at the moment i would rather get a 165htz 1440p and wait for a better and affordable 4k monitor :)

seems to me the build would be fairly similar priced as your part picker is in USD, i toggled AUD and compared it pretty much similarly priced :\

My bad, I forgot you were AUD:

ooo okay, got some questions about the monitor! is it much different to the 27in version? Because i was planning to have a dual screen set up in the future, and a wide screen thats 34in may be too big for my desk for a second monitor with that one, but i could wall mount it still
Just wondering your opinion and what would you do in this situation.. Save 200-300 and wait for a better 4k monitor or go all out and get the widescreen that may only be the only monitor?
