my computer is all OEM except I have a Nvidia GeForce 6600 OC 512MB PCI-E GPU. I found this on you tube http://youtube.com/watch?v=8_p_2NeFMnM . Now I'm not "too" concerend about wrecking this card because as you know it's old. I was woundering what Clock speeds I can raise this too.

I just made another computer for somebody so I got to keep his old one. So I have access to some more fans, so can I tie these fans into my current computer to even up the clock speed more?

ok I OC'd the card to core clock frequency of 472MHz and Memory clock frequency of 545MHz on performance (3D)

when I look at the temperater when running ATI Tool it goes up to 65 degrees C. It says on there my core slowdown threshold is 145C so am I safe ?

I uped it up now its core clock = 478 MHz, Memory clock = 595 MHz the temp is raising slowly after hitting 68C though so I guess its safe. time to play bf2 and test it out.

bf2 test was good I can now turn my graphic settings all up maxed out with no lag. I'm done messing with the clock speed for the GPU now though my core clock is 491MHz, Memory clock is 622MHz.

Is there a way where I can see my temp easier though because when i'm playing bf2 when i exit to try to see the temp it takes a while to load it up which gives it a lot of time to cool down.

nvm today i was looking at my computer and noticed it has the ddr bus which is the same as my scrap computer so I took the 512MB RAM stick out and put it in this one to make a total of 1.5GB RAM. Now when I close the game its instant no long ass loading and slow downs after i leave the game. Found out that my tempiture is only hitting 57C got that number from right after closing bf2 on max every thing. I guess ill up it again!
