Ive worked with several pc's in the past but not enough to care about static.

Recently purchased components which are fairly expensive and dont want to take a risk.

Where would i plug my anti static wrist strap on my corsair 750d? I cant see any unpainted parts.

Are there other areas i can plug the strap to? I live in australia if thst makes any difference.

Solution
Connect your wrist strap to an un-painted metal piece on your case or inside the case, like a screw inside the case that holds attaches to one of your PCI cards or slots. If you want to get real serious buy a anti-static mat.
The best way is to connect the strap to a grounded metal.
Options:
- Most houses, no matter where you live, should have grounding connection on each power plug.
- Metal water pipe or water hand
- Metal room heater (the heater in Germany is good for this purpose, I dunno for Aussie)
