Need some clarification on my BIOS, CPU, OC attempts

Okay so I had a AMD Athlon II X4 650 I was going to try and OC it and after some searching and messing around i came to realize it had a locked BIOS so i just made the upgrade to a Phenom II X6 1055tt 95w it hasn't come yet but its stock clock is at 2.8ghz and i was wondering if i can OC that or is my mobo the problem here with the whole locked BIOS issue? motherboard is a N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX (Alvorix), long story short when the new processor comes will it fix the locked BIOS issue?

No.I am guessing the machine is a brand name retail purchase (HP?). The locked or missing bios options are for the warranty,usually.

yeah it was bought HP but the only thing thats still stock is the motherboard, so does that mean there is no possible way to OC it even with the new CPU?
