Santa was nice enough to bring a nice Gigabyte GTX1070 graphics card, but we realized that our PSU might not be up to the task. The PCU is a DELTA DPS-460DB-3A 460W Power supply. It only has a 6-pin connector, and the card needs an 8 pin.
Solution: Upgrading the PSU to a
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 750W , Fully Modular PSU.
Can Tom's Elves advise Santa's Elves on any tricky aspects to replacing this PSU? Planning to give this a try tomorrow. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
