I need some 120mm case fans, I would like them to be quiet and have good airflow. I was going to get the coolermaster sickleflows, but I heard that they are really loud, I am willing to spend £10 per fan, but cheaper is preferred

I used (one so far, two more soon) this Bitfenix Spectre Pro - BFF-SPRO-12025KK-RP. Unfortunately not 4pin PWM (2pin) but it does seem to be semi controllable by my motherboard (don't know how but the RPMs are around 600 +/- and revs up to 1200 +/- when the ambient temp in the case is high). If your motherboard isn't able to control it, it comes with a "low speed" adapter. Which is basically a fan to Molex plug that limits the volts to 7
Cost about 10$ Canadian, so I guess that's like £5-6

No you won't be able to control the speeds at all most likely. Check their line and see if they offer a similar fan with 4pin PWM control.
£12? I honestly don't understand certain things about the prices of electronics in the UK. Why would a product that costs 10-12$ Canadian cost effectively almost double in the UK? It seems these merchants are taking advantage.

Either way if you are looking for high CFM, low noise (almost silent) and good reliability then the 4pin PWM version of these fans will be worth the few extra dollars.
