I currently have this system and I want to do an upgrade so that I can get more FPS in game.

I primarily play Paragon lately and I am getting around 30 frames with everything maxed. (Playing on 3440x1440)

I would love to get over 60 FPS but I am unsure of my bottleneck currently.

Here is my current build:

My CPU is overclocked to 4.4

Should I upgrade to a 4790K ( beacuse of the overclock) or go with the 6700K and get a new mobo, ddr4 ram & PSU?

OR

Should I throw another 980 ti up in there?

If I did go with skylake I was thinking of keeping my hard drives & cpu cooler and just getting parts as I go along. I think I will create a second frankenstein build from my old parts either to sell or keep for my friends to play on when they come over. Currently my main focus is my main PC though.

Please help me out on what you think I should to do increase my FPS, thanks!

First things first capture GPU/CPU usage and see which blinks first when it's doing 30 fps. I'll guess it's the 980ti, but I'm not familiar enough with that game to know for sure. Going to a 4790k isn't an upgrade at all. If the CPU is maxxed out (check individual cores, not just overall usage) then skylake is the only way up. If it's the GPU running maxxed then another 980ti should fix what ales you.
