Hi there !

This is my current set-up :

-) Asus ATX Z170 Pro Gaming
-) Corsair 2x8GB, DDR4, 2133MHz, CL13, Vengeance LPX
-) Intel Skylake Core i5 6600K 3.50GHz 6MB
-) Gigabyte Videokaart GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8GB

When i'm running a game or 2 and watching some youtube I notice my RAM and my CPU are running at 100% (which gives me some minor lags)

Now I'm wondering if I would get improvements if would add some more RAM?

These are my 2 options : (or if you guys have a better solution I would love to hear it !)

--> add the same as there's already there so Corsair 2x8GB, DDR4, 2133MHz, CL13, Vengeance LPX (€ 100)

--> or remove the old ones and replace it with this corsair vengeance 2x16 ddr4 3400mhz ( € 270)

Thnx in advance !

I'd say go for the faster 2 x 8 3400mhz ram. Your mobo will take up to 3400mhz OC DIMMS. Adding another 16gb to the already slow ram, will not help for gaming.

However, I find it hard to believe 16gb of ram can be maxed paying games. I play some pretty demanding games like BF V and although there is above 10gbs usage it never gets near 16gbs. Maybe look at shutting down back round tasks, reduce memory usage and CPU usage. That brings me to the next thing. Your CPU is decent, but 4c/4t CPU's are maxing out in any new AAA games. Getting an I7 6700/k/7700/k in there will give you more room to breath.

IMO getting a 2 x 8gb kit of fast mem, and an upgraded I7 cpu will give you a good boost.
