Well title pretty much says it all but I'm looking to build a gaming rig for $1000 and needed some help picking out the rest of the pieces.
What I had in mind so far,
Mobo: ASRock Z77 Pro3: LGA 1155, Intel Z77 Express
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K
GPU: EVGA 02G-P4-2670-KR GeForce GTX 670
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile
I live in the US and usually order my pieces from Newegg.
I still need an optical drive, ssd (if possible just for OS and a few games), hdd (I can use my old one if needed), case, psu.
I'm completely open to any options including changing what I've picked but I rather have intel as well as nvidia. If I can get better performance out an Amd GPU for the price of the 670 then I'm more than welcome to give AMD a try for the first time.
Thanks for the help ahead of time.
