Need Some Help Troubleshooting a GTX 670

Well i solved it. 😛

For starters, my entire system is running flawlessly...except for my PCI-e slots.

i7 3770k @ 4.2
32 GB G.Skill @ 1866
Asus Sabertooth z77
Antec HCP-750 pro
EVGA GTX 670 (FTW Edition)

I have tried both my old card (Radeon HD 6870) and my GTX 670 in both PCI-e 3.0 x16 slots, neither of which will turn on. The fans will not spin as well.

Am I looking at 2 dead PCI-e slots on a very reliable MOBO, or did I miss something? (Yes the dual 6-pin's from the PSU are in)

It could be your PSU. See if you have warranty left.

This PSU can run my other rig. The quality of it tells me that if it can flawlessly run my other rig, there is no reason it can't run my newer one.

Check the cables again. See if they are attached to their correct slots on the PSU.

They're the dual 6-pin integrated with the PSU. Furthermore, it's a modular PSU that I connected a separate cable to consisting of dual 6-pins. They haven't worked either.

Can you get it to boot or get to Windows if you use on-board graphics?

I'm using it right now. Running off of integrated graphics. Everything else is running perfectly..except for my video card/PCI-e slot, whichever is the problem.

Well, I can't think of anything else to check. It must be the PCI slots.

One thing you could try is updating the BIOS.

Pretty much sounds to me like the board is faulty.I believe it has five year warranty so take advantage of it.Tell asus wtf!Thanks for ruining my Christmas.
