Heyo everyone!, just curious if i can get some help with a build and its issue(s)?.

Just built a new pc for a friend and it wont power on.
PrineASUSX570-P
Ryzen 9 3900x
Corsair vengeance ram 3600
Corsair RM850x
RTX2070

built it all up, turned on the psu, motherboard led's come on, press the power button and nothing happens, triple checked the front panel cables and their plugs to the mb. Everything was in the correct place.

anyone have any ideas as to what may be happening?.

have you tried shorting the motherboard front power header, bypassing the front panel power button?

try a basic breadboard setup,
try each component separately in a known functioning system,
make sure any surge protector and/or wall outlet is functioning,

are all components brand new or some salvaged?

All new with the exception of the fans used for the cooler.

tried a jumpstart and nothing. Im thinking the psu may have some issues. I have several others at home i can test out when im back home, i'll update the results when im done.

found out the CPU wasn't seated correctly because of the poor mounting system on the MB.

It powers on!, but it not posting. NOW im at a loss.
ASUS has been known more & more over these past couple years to offer less & less viable support.
could also lead to less quality control while just depending on their established name for the time being.

i would reseat again to be sure everything is properly connected and if it continues to fail;
still try switching components out to a known functioning system,
try a breadboard layout,
etc...to see if you can determine any other failed component(s).
