Question Need some laptop RAM advice please

Just got this budget gaming laptop....

Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54-5659 15.6"
intel Core i5-9300H Processor 2.4GHz; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5; 8GB DDR4-2666 RAM; 512GB Solid State Drive


I wan't to upgrade the ram, probably to 16+. I know next to nothing about ram specs, so will this do for this laptop?

Crucial 8GB DDR4 2666 MT/s (PC4-21300) SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT8G4SFRA266

Am I on the right track.

Don't mix RAM. Buy a paired 2×8gb set.
