[SOLVED] Need some opinion on building a higher end gaming PC

Looking to build a new gaming PC.
The PC will be used to play games, some video editing, watching streams and possibly streaming myself.
Here's what I've compiled so far. Feel free to offer suggestions on different options if you don't think my choice is a good one. I'm not very knowledgeable so I'm leaning on your help to guide me, so thank you in advance!

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3.7 GHz 12-Core Processor - I'm pretty set on this CPU
VIDEO CARD: MSI Radeon RX 6900 XT 16 GB GAMING X TRIO Video Card - I'm also pretty set on going with a 6900 XT, unsure of brand though, is this MSI any good?
MOTHERBOARD: MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard - I heard this was good but open to suggestions
MEMORY: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory - I think 32 gb is good here? Should I go higher than 3600?
STORAGE: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive - This one seemed like a popular pick
PSU: Need suggestions here
COOLER: Need suggestions here. Is liquid cooling that best option?
CASE: No idea here

I know my choice of CPU and video card might be a bit overkill but I'm ok with that. I'd like to leave it open so I can do more with it in the near future. In terms of budget, I'm not hard set on a number. I don't want to go top of the line on everything unless you think it's necessary but i'm ok with getting the higher end options if that means it pairs better with my choices or offers better quality.
I'm not looking to do any overclocking or anything.
Any other suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Look like a pretty decent plan you have here.

Get a nice 1000Watt PSU, to go with that... should workout stable performance, some ideas: Antec, ROG, Corsair...

I would go with G. Skill RAM over Corsair. They have a Trident Neo that is optimized for Ryzen. I bought a 3600MHz kit with CL 16 timings. It is a Samsung B die, that's the good one.

If you are going to go liquid cooling I would get a case that can fit a 360mm AIO. The cooler you keep the 5900X the higher it boosts. I am getting peaks of 4.95GHz with no overclocking.

Do you think liquid cooling here is necessary? I know i have some high performing parts but I'm not sure how often I'm going to be pushing them to the limits. I heard liquid cooling has more cooling potential but also more work involved?

Is the i7-12700K really better than the 5900x?

Here is a review:
The reason the 12th gen intel chips are better for games is because of the higher single thread performance.
The 5900X has a single thread passmark rating of 3496.
The rating for the 12700K is 3909.
Even the I5-12600K is 3946

Modern intel processors have a TDP of 125w.
That is the power draw at normal operations.
But to allow max turbo, a good cooler is necessary.
I would think a Noctua NH-D15/s would do the hob about as well as a 280 aio in a good case.

You will be using a strong gpu so buy a case with plenty of front air intake.

On the psu, buy only a quality unit with a 7 to 10 year warranty.

Next to the i9 12900K, it's the fastest consumer retail cpu on the market atm yet it uses less power than the i9 while achieving similar results. Alder Lake blows AMD out of the water.

I have only used G. Skill and Corsair. Both are good quality. The sweet spot for the Ryzen 5900x is 3600MHz with CL16 timings. G. Skill makes a CL14 version which is way more expensive. Corsair if I remember right makes a CL16. Some people will buy CL18 which is slightly slower but probably won't make a huge difference in gaming.

There is a big debate in the PC world regarding air vs liquid cooling. A lot of people will say that a good air cooler will perform equally to an AIO. I think they are mainly considering 120 and 240mm radiators. I use a 360mm AIO and I love it. To me, an air cooler is ugly. I like the look of a pump mounted on the CPU and two hoses running to the radiator. Much cleaner in my opinion. The downside is that an AIO does have the potential to spring a leak which would really suk. They can also stop working which means you better have a backup cooling solution unless you can be without your PC for a few days while ordering parts.

Somebody feel free to correct me if I am incorrect, I believe the 5900x is designed to boost to it's maximum potential as long as it has thermal headroom. Therefore you will be pushing your rig to the limits while gaming. My CPU temp readings are between 70 to 74C while playing Cyberpunk 2077 which is about as demanding as games get. This is about the same as my old 7700K OC'd to 5.0GHz and delidded. I thought the Ryzen would run cooler but it doesn't. It does however reach 4.95GHz without overclocking or delidding or any thing, just stock. Very impressed with that.

As far as more work involved with an AIO it requires a case that can house the radiator of your choice. Not all cases can take a 360mm radiator. It is a little more work mounting the radiator and fans than just installing an air cooler but still pretty easy. If you are referring to a full blown liquid cooling setup I watched a video on that recently. That is a lot more work.
