I've recently brought a 1440p 144hz Monitor and I'm looking to upgrade my CPU along side.

I currently have my eyes on upgrading my I5-7600k to a I9-9900k I also own a 2070 currently.

With the 3000s series of Nvidia cards set to release next year I was looking to upgrade then.

The other approach Is I upgrade to a 2080 Super and keep my 7600k for now. I play the latest triple A titles Including Destiny 2, Cod, etc..

This System Is purely used for gaming. I won't be Streaming with this Computer.

How much RAM do you have?

And yeah the 7600K might limit you in more CPU intensive games, but I would suggest setting up your 1440P monitor and see if that helps.

Also for a CPU upgrade you may want to consider a Ryzen 3700 instead, its cheaper then a 9900K by almost 200 and in most games only slightly slower.

I've noticed I do tend to get constant stuttering In Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Borderlands 3. I feel like that's my CPU maxing out because of the 4 cores. I haven't setup my 1440p Monitor yet so I'm still playing In 1080p
